Two six-storey apartment developments are heading to a public hearing.
A project at 1930 Underhill Street proposes a mixed-use development with 177 residential units and commercial retail space next to the Costco gas bar.
Amenity space includes a games room, workshop, co-working space, a dog run, bocce ball court and seating areas.
The plans include studio, one, two and three-bedroom units. A level of underground parkade is also proposed.
鈥淭he housing is intended to be accessible and affordable for lower-income households and families, with several adaptable for persons with disabilities,鈥� a staff report reads.
The public hearing for both developments is on Nov. 5 in council chambers beginning at 4:30 p.m.
