A semi trailer is on fire in the west bound lane of the Coquihalla Highway just outside of Hope.
Witnesses in the area report that the driver is okay and was able to detach their truck from the burning trailer. Smoke from the fire may be affecting visibility and traffic flow in the area.
The fire does not appear to be causing major delays at this time.
