The investigation continues following a shooting early Sunday morning in West 琉璃神社.

鈥淭he investigation, led by the West 琉璃神社 RCMP General Investigations Section (GIS), remains ongoing at this time which also includes the possibility of the involvement of other suspects,鈥� said Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey.

鈥淚nvestigators do not believe the public is at risk, as this was not believed to be a random attack as the victim knew his attackers. The two suspects that were previously arrested, by police nearby the scene, have since been released without charge.鈥�

The shooting victim continues to recover from serious injuries, believed to be non-life threatening in nature.
