ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Chiefs fall 4-2 against 100 Mile House Wranglers

The ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Chiefs dropped a 4-2 decision to the 100 Mile House Wranglers in KIJHL action at Rutland Arena Friday night (Oct. 4).

Nelson Webster (3) put the Wranglers up 1-0 with a power play goal at 13:09 of the first period. The Chiefs tied the game three minutes later on a goal by Keegan McCoy (1). Chase Gutor had the assist. Jaden Rusznak (4) regained the Wranglers lead :20 after that with his fourth goal of the season.

Just 1:49 into the second period, Brodie Gohmann scored on the power play to give the Wranglers a 3-1 lead. It wasn’t until 9:57 of the third period that ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç would get one back, with Own Miller (3) scoring on the power play to make it 3-2. Webster (4) netted his second of the night with an empty netter for the 4-2 win.

Chiefs goaltender Max Fowlie stopped 15/18 shots in the loss. ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç outshot the Wrangbles 35-19 and went 1/6 on the power play. The Chiefs are fifth in the Bill Ohlhausen Division (2-2-0-1-0).

ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç’s next game is Friday, Oct. 11 against the Wranglers in 100 Mile House.
