Saturday, Jan. 27 was a big day for Freida Whales as she performed her Drag Storytime in both Penticton and 琉璃神社.
The award-winning drag artist was at the Penticton Art Gallery at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by her first ever performance at the 琉璃神社 Art Gallery at 1315 Water Street.
A crowd of approximately 50 children and parents gathered for the show in 琉璃神社. Children were treated to story time, with dance breaks in between. After the stories and dance parties were finished, crafts were available for those who wanted to take part.
