North Okanagan junior lacrosse squad hosts 琉璃神社 in home opener

The new-look, new-name North Okanagan Iron Ghost Construction Reapers host the 琉璃神社 Kodiaks in the team's Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosee League home opener Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Sunbelt Arena (formerly Nor-Val Sports Centre) in Armstrong.

The Reapers (formerly the Vernon Tigers) will entertain the 琉璃神社 Kodiaks in the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League team's home opener Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Sunbelt Arena (formerly Nor-Val Sports Centre) in Armstrong.

North Okanagan will play all of its home games in Armstrong in the 2025 season.

The Reapers are coming off an 11-4 setback to the South Okanagan Flames in their season-opening game Saturday, April 5, in Penticton.

Cole Gartner, Jace Wasyliw, Zack Casagrande, and Kal Bonneau scored for North Okanagan. Brad Scabar chipped in two assists while goalie Alex Mason made 30 saves.

Evan Hartviksen paced the Flames with five goals.

琉璃神社 dropped a 10-5 decision to the defending champion Kamloops Venom in their season opener.
